Working for PROCARE STAFFING

We are seeking agency workers who possess the following qualities:

  • Ability to handle last-minute shifts with as little as one hour’s notice
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality care
  • Caring and compassionate nature, treating patients, carers, and relatives with respect and dignity
  • Foster an environment of openness and honesty, effectively communicating with Procare staff, clients, and patients
  • Exhibit integrity and work within their individual competencies
  • Easily integrate into new teams and contribute value during each shift
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel long distances to support clients
  • Reliability and punctuality, committing to accepted bookings
  • Willing to travel and work with multiple clients when work is available
  • Are adaptable if requested to support different wards or departments when on shift
(within reason, such as moving to an area you are skilled/comfortable to work in).

All our agency workers must work independently without direct supervision from the client in the designated area. Our thorough referencing system ensures that our workers possess the necessary skills to work in their assigned clinical areas. This guarantees our clients that our agency workers are competent team members from the moment they step into a unit.

Applicants for ProCare Saffing must have the legal right to work in the UK and hold current, unrestricted NMC/HCPC registration. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 requires an Enhanced Disclosure check to be conducted by the Disclosure and Barring Service to identify any previous criminal cautions or convictions.

Local shift availability

We often receive questions from prospective applicants wanting to know if we have regular shifts available in their local area.

Whilst many agencies recruit locally to fulfil contractual agreements with local trusts, ProCare staffing is different.

We work with hospitals in times of need, when no other agency can support them. We do this by mobilising nurses from across the country, often at very short notice. We have a team of nurses available and ready to be deployed whenever they’re needed, often travelling miles and miles to support clients in some of the most remote parts of the country.

Working for ProCare staffing is about embracing variety. One day you could be working 5 miles from your home, the next day it could be 50 miles, so it’s important that you’re flexible. Explore the country, work in places you never thought you would, and meet new colleagues who will teach you things you never knew. In return, you’ll be paid the best rates around.

If you’re willing to take the next step in your agency nursing career, jump on board with ProCare staffing. We’d love to welcome you to our team and we’re certain you won’t regret it!
